Why We

Do This

Relationship

We deeply believe in the power of relationships. In an increasingly digital world, the bonds we form with others hold an incredible significance that transcends screens and devices. The human touch is still and will always be the most important tangible substance we have. Building relationships is still the biggest way of enriching our lives in countless ways every day. We believe that when we sit down with friends and break bread something magical happens; relationships are formed that last for an eternity.

Forming a habit

It's important to build a habit of meeting with your friends for dinner or lunch. Friendships and procuring those friendships are important; these habits are important to our life and to who you are. Being together with friends at any dining setting is good for the soul, bonding, and your emotional well-being. It even has health and memory benefits. Incorporating these habits can have a profound impact on your well-being and your positive outlook on life.

Reach the goal

In the network of Wheels, Deals and Meals our hope is that our guest, the restaurants we visit, their owners and their management - that we all collectively reach our goal. That we network and learn from each other so that whatever business we are in we learn from each other; we set big goals and strive to reach those goals. Together learning from each other, even from different industries, there's nothing we cannot achieve.

Grow with career

Relationships and networking are an important part of career growth. People buy from people they like; and people buy from friends. It all starts as relationships. Building relationships contribute to your career growth, professional growth and career growth. Growing your career in a setting like this helps you learn more. It expands your knowledge, gives you access to opportunities, enhances your skills, gives support, encouragement, and motivates you. Talk to people. Build relationships. Expand your career growth.

If you know Arnold, you know that he loves to have a dinner with friends many of which are clients. He loves to break bread with them, get to know them better, and build stronger and better relationships. Arnold never considers clients – just clients. He considers them lifelong friends. Some of which he travels with, does business with, enjoys spending time with, but for sure all of them spending long dinners together -doing what friends do.

about

Arnold

Arnold Gacita is the President and Founder of Houston-based Petra Automotive Products, Inc., one of the fastest growing chemical companies and a trusted brand throughout the United States and 38 countries. From an early age, Arnold, who emigrated to the U.S. from Cuba when he was seven months old, learned two important lessons: you shouldn’t take anything for granted; and you have to out work everyone else. As a child, his grandfather, who left behind a successful grocery store and meat market in Cuba, told him, “no matter what position you have , do something; if you see a broom, pick it up and start sweeping.” He learned his work ethics from seeing his Father work 14-16 hours shifts as a painter for an oil tools company. An entrepreneur from an early age, Arnold worked in the streets after school and in the summers, selling a variety of products – from furniture his grandfather and uncle built to snow cones.
